The bathrooms in this historic home suffered from poorly executed remodels over the years. Now, the homeowners wanted to return the baths to their original glory. The master bath was given all new but classic materials. In addition, extra storage space was provided by borrowing a small section of an adjoining closet to add decorative and practical shelving.
Not only was the guest bath an eyesore, but it was badly damaged when previous owners added a shower to the tub area without waterproofing the walls. The windows and walls were rotted and no longer safe. All the windows and surrounding walls were replaced and brought up to code. Again using classic materials, the bath is highly functional and stunningly beautiful.
